Michelle has dedicated her life to a powerful mission—rescuing horses from slaughter and giving them a second chance at life. At Willow Woods Equine Sanctuary & Farm, horses of all breeds find safety, care, and compassion as they begin their journey toward healing.
Through patient rehabilitation, we work to restore not only their physical health, but also their trust—helping these beautiful animals feel safe, valued, and loved again… one horse at a time. 💛
Visitors and volunteers are a vital part of this mission. Willow Woods offers riding lessons that not only create meaningful experiences, but also directly support the care and well-being of the horses. Every lesson, visit, and helping hand makes a difference.
Looking ahead, we’re excited to grow! Our long-term goals include renovating the barn, opening a small store to support the sanctuary, and building an education center where both children and adults can learn about proper horse care and the importance of rescue and rehabilitation.
Willow Woods Equine Sanctuary is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, fully volunteer-run and funded by donations. We offer multiple sponsorship opportunities, allowing donors to connect with the horses while contributing to their ongoing care.
